Program Outline
Based on Imam al-Ghazzali's 40th book of Ihya Uloom ud-Deen, Kitab Dhikr al-Mawt wa ma Ba'dahu (The Remembrance of Death and the Afterlife), this 6-week Study Circle is an excellent preparation for a fuller and a more meaningful life that we can live!
This Study Circle instructed by Imam Afroz Ali will finish just before Ramadhan as a good reminder to seek to improve ourselves in the presence of God Almighty. In the 6 weeks, the program will cover information on:
- Death as a motivator rather than a state of doom
- Merits and benefit in remembering death often
- Thinking of God Almighty with only good
- The eve of death
- The grave as the abode
- Understanding life and afterlife
