Since 2004, over 200 students around the world have completed Al-Ghazzali Centre’s Foundations Diploma in Islamic Studies program, many of whom as a result continued with further advanced studies in Yemen, Syria and Jordan. This 10- core module (and 3 electives) program allows the student to complete studies of fundamentally important Personal Obligations, as well as gain a thorough foundation into the various important Sacred Sciences.
This course is offered on-ground with direct teacher contact, at Al-Ghazzali Centre.
This Foundations program covers lessons from the Hanafi as well as Shafi’i schools, and covers lessons for:
- Understanding Schools and their importance(Madhab)
- Islamic Creed (Aqida; our beliefs)
- Trade & Finance
- Spirituality (Tasawwuf)
- Islamic Legal Theory (Usul al-Fiqh)
There are no pre-requisites required to enrol in this course. To qualify for the final award, the student must have had a minimum of 80% attendance for each module and pass each core module and at least two electives.
